Most depressing of the depression

When it comes to what is the most depressing part of the Great Depression it comes down to a lot of different opinions . It was centered around the economic slump in america. I think that was definitely the most depressing thing to happen during the Great Depression mostly because of the fact it domino effected across our economy slowly reaching its way through the areas of the world that were industrialized . It started in 1929 with the collapse in prices in the New York stock exchange and ended in trade between the blocs being limited , with world trade in 1939 .
This time in history , not only made our economy depressed but also a majority of the individuals involved , losing their money directly or by family and friends , losing everything they had left . It brought down the happiness of everyone and the economy itself . In my opinion , this directly shows how this is definitely the most depressing time of the Great Depression.
